We are looking for a full time live-in au pair with some experience for our 4 year old son starting at the end of August for a minimum of 12 months.
We would like someone who is loving, fun, energetic and English speaking.
Horatio is an absolute dream to be around and will be turning 5 in September, when he will start school. He loves play dates, football in the park, playing violin and swimming. He'll often be found in his playroom chatting away to himself whilst doing some coloring. I work in the creative industry and my wife is a journalist. We also have two older children who are 23 and 21. The 23 year old lives with us at home and the 21 year old lives away at University and stays with us during the holidays. We’re a very close family unit and when we all have the spare time we like to visit our home in the Cotswold, where we’d love for you to also join us from time to time.
We live in Primrose Hill, where our nearest tube is Chalk Farm, only a short 5 minute walk away. The area is well connected and also has a number of great local shops, restaurants and pubs. Camden Town is a ten minute walk away and has many great high street stores, and the Lock is absolutely buzzing on weekends.
As Horatio will be going to the local school and will have just finished up at Nursery around the corner, we are lucky enough to have lots of friends in the area.
Weekly jobs/tasks would include:
1. Walk Horatio to and from school
2. Take him to his afternoon activities (swimming, football and sometimes Violin) or arrange a play date
3. Help prepare/ cook dinner 3 times a week.
4. Help with home work and school projects
5. Light housework (we also have a main cleaner)
a) Put the washing on, hang out or put in the Dryer and iron Horatio’s clothes, make Horatio’s bed and clean his bedroom and playroom.
b) Wash up , fill and empty the dishwasher
c) Wash and change Horatio’s bed once a week
