Wanted: Live In Au Pair – English Speaking, London N12 (20 hours per week term time)
We are looking for a live-in au pair to join our happy, loving family and look after our three children, aged 4, 8 and 10, in our comfortable north Finchley home, from October/November 2022. Finchley is a friendly, quiet and safe suburb of London with lots of parks, good local shops and facilities, language schools and easy access to central London by tube.
Our children are happy, well-behaved and independent boys, who attend school daily (during term time).   We are looking for someone who will make our children feel safe and cared for and who wants to make their days together fun!
We are a relaxed and friendly but busy family, and as both parents have demanding, professional jobs, the role will be sole charge of the children four days per week (days to be agreed), from approximately 8am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm (20 hours per week) and two evenings babysitting per week.
In school holidays, you will look after the children a little longer, from around 8am to 7pm, but only three days per week (again, days to be agreed; 33 hours per week).
During term time the role will involve:

Helping get the children ready for school.
Organising their school kit
Walking the children safely to and from their schools.
Taking our children to the park or playing with them at home (especially our youngest)
Helping with homework
Encouraging the children to practice their instruments.
Taking the children to after-school activities.
Organising activities and play dates
Doing bath time
Cooking wholesome, familiar meals for the children.
Cleaning up after the children/doing their laundry (we have a cleaner who does general housework)
Running occasional errands

We need someone who is:

Fluent in English and has the right to live in the UK.
Well educated
Interested in, and has experience with, children (ideally with younger siblings)
Tidy, good at basic household tasks, organised and firm.
Friendly, affectionate and fun (ideally someone who enjoys sports and playing outdoors)
Cat-friendly (as we have a lovely family cat)
Able to commit to at least 9 months

You will have your own bright and spacious room with a double bed, TV, WiFi and a lovely view over a park, as well as a bathroom that will be mainly for your use (shared with occasional guests), on a  separate floor to the children.
