We're looking for someone responsible, fun and loving to effectively be both an au pair and help keep the house clean and tidy, who wants to live in, and work 25 hours per week.
We are a family with two children – a girl 7, in Year 2, and one 4, in Reception. And we have a dog who occasionally might need looking after!

Duties would involve:

20 Hours a week childcare — breakfast, dressing, and pick-up from school, homework and tea three times a week, making supper, helping with homework, playing etc.
Two evenings babysitting — though we don't always use both.
5 Hours housekeeping — cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying, basic errands at local shops.

We have a lovely three bedroom flat (with access to a garden) in Acton.You will have your own room. We have two bathrooms in the house and will have a very easy system in place! My husband and I run a magazine publishing company a couple of miles away. I currently work at home two days a week (Mon and Friday) and in the office for the other three. We are away so many weekends that mostly you’d have the house to yourself!

Most of what you will be doing will be helping with the children. In the morning – just playing, breakfast, getting dress OR maybe taking the dog for a walk! Occasionally walking them down to school, tidying up, making beds, washing up, unloading dishwasher, putting Toys away etc.

In the afternoon, sometimes picking them up, playing, making supper, helping with homework, bath time, keeping the house tidy – but generally I or my husband will be around too to help!

Other duties would be a bit of cooking (for kids only), tidying up (kids room), sitting room etc, sometimes taking dog for a walk, ironing school uniforms –  hoovering and dusting house and cleaning bathroom and kitchen once a week,
