We are a friendly family from Queens Park looking for an energetic and organised LIVE-IN au pair to join us to help look after three girls aged 11-15. We are very used to au pairs and our current au pair has been with us for two years and is more than happy to provide our family with a reference. The job is mainly before school and after school care with tidying up, laundry and cooking.
We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, preferably who has experience as an au pair, and with good English. Spanish speakers particularly welcomed as our girls are learning Spanish.
About the job. Your responsibilities include: daily light housework (we also have a weekly cleaner) plus some washing and ironing; cooking healthy and nutritious meals; organising play dates. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a 9am start during school term time, later in the holidays.
From 9 am your job will include some light-house work/tidy up/laundry/walk the dog etc until about 09.30/10am. You then have the rest of the morning and early afternoon free until.
.Around 4pm when we would like you take the dog out and cook dinner for the kids and tidy the kitchen afterwards.
We might require up to 2 nights baby-sitting per week if needed.
Hours are approximately 25/30 hours per week.
What we can offer you for all your hard work. Accommodation is excellent – you get your own bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and shower and your own front door. And free WiFi of course. We provide competitive pay, depending on experience and relevant skills but in region of £100-£125/week. You must take responsibility for your own food/meals. Non-smokers preferred and absolutely no smoking in the house please.

The job requires someone with the right personality who is naturally organised, tidy, outgoing and positive, and who will be excited by living in such a big, vibrant city like London. We usually take holidays at regular times (Easter, Christmas, August etc) and we would expect you to do the same. We ideally want someone who can commit to 1 year. Start date: as soon as possible.
