We are looking for a lovely and experienced au pair to join our young and friendly family with a 6 month old baby near Dollis Hill, London starting in January 2022 and for a minimum of 9 months.
The candidate must speak a good level of English and have experience with young children ideally babies.
Working hours are usually on weekdays (Monday to Friday). You will have the weekends off except if needed on an adhoc basis and those would be covered separately.
Both parents work (dad full time and mom part time) so we are looking for someone responsible and is able to take good care of our baby and be comfortable to take sole charge as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping giving the baby breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Arranging afternoon activities for the baby eg trips to the park and play gym
- Doing the baby’s laundry
- Helping keep the house tidy
- Helping getting the baby to bed
- 2 babysitting nights per week (nights to be arranged and agreed in advance)
This is a fantastic role for the right person. We offer:
- £200 pocket money per week
- Live-in accommodation with all bills and food, including your own floor of the house with a large private room and bathroom. Our home is close to stations, bus Stops and parks.
In return we are looking for someone who:
- Speaks a good level of English
- Has past experience working with young children and ideally babies (and prefer someone with past experience as an au pair)
- Is clean and tidy
- Can cook simple meals
It is essential you have references. We ideally want to find someone who is at least 25 years old , and who can commit for at least 9 months.
