The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of kitchen staff, in addition to the production and quality assurance of the Maple and Co (previously know as Maple and Fitz) menu items under the direction and support of the Head Chef who will help you along the way! On a daily basis your responsibilities will include guiding and motivating kitchen team members, ordering ingredients and ensuring timely service. This role will grow quickly as we've grown from 1 to 3 stores in two years with more exciting opportunities to come!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow demand plan for food preparation
• Consistent production in a timely matter for service 8AM BREAKFAST. 10:30 AM DELIVERIES, 11:30AM LUNCH
• Checking for correct garnish and seasoning before dishes go out for service/ catering
• Creating and prioritising daily to do list for yourself and kitchen team members
• Conducting stock take and communicate issues with Head Chef
• Maintain to kitchen policies for health, safety, hygiene and cleanliness i.e. Correctly keeping records for HACCP book
• Report any issues to Head Chef
• Manage stock usage and ordering for station and notify Head Chef when supplies are low
Other Skills Required
• Strong knowledge for food and hygiene
• Ability to motivate and train team members
• Good communication skills in English
• Accuracy and speed in food preparation
• Creativity and support with new recipe testing and development.
