Bunker 51 is an underground Bunker based near North Greenwich station. It's home to zombie SWAT Training, paintball, lasertag and airsoft.
The Canteen in Bunker 51 is looking for a part time Kitchen Assistant for 2-3 days work a week (roughly 16 to 24 hours). The kitchen is open from 9am to 3pm and occasionally nights for parties or events. The Canteen itself is a quiet job with minimal footfall. For day-to-day running, you would be on your own in the kitchen. This role requires someone how can work independently and maintain the standard of the kitchen manager when she is not there.
On busy days or events, you would be working side by side with the kitchen manager.
An average day is quiet and you are able to read a book or be on your phone when there are no customers present.
This role includes opening the kitchen, maintaining kitchen cleanliness standards, preparing food and cash handling. The Canteen has very little footfall per day due to it's location so you are expected to do everything from take the order to making the order to processing the order.
You must have a high level of personal cleanliness and personal presentation for this role.
No experience necessary as you will be taught on the job, however some cash handling experience is desired. Pay starts from £7.50 per hour depending on age and experience.
