Raw Press is a cold-pressed juice cafe and wellness brand with one site on Ellis Street in Chelsea and another soon to be opening in King's Cross.
Our offering comprises a range of wellness drinks, including cold-pressed juice, nut Milks, smoothies and probiotic tonics, plus an extensive breakfast menu, a selection of vegan salads and hot options, healthy snacks, coffees and teas. The food is plant-based, with a leaning towards raw foods and superfoods, such as dehydrated adaptogenic granola pots, Kelp noodle pots or raw brownies!
The role advertised is for a full-time or part-time chef who is passionate about health, good food, and works well both independently and in a team. The successful applicant will be organised, have a good sense of taste, be able to work quickly, accurately and efficiently to existing recipes, and preferably have some experience within a kitchen environment.
We currently have a position available at our Chelsea branch, in a modern and spacious kitchen within our store, and you will be within a great working environment with like-minded people. The job advertised does not require any drinks production, but involves preparation of breakfast, lunch and snack items for our store, office catering, and wholesale; we are increasingly selling our products to various retailers across London, including Planet Organic and Whole Foods.
Our stores are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm. The shifts are nonetheless not necessarily dependant on store hours and, within reason, can vary according to the needs and flexibility of the applicant.
The position pays £8.50 per hour and there are very good opportunities for progression within this fast-growing company, as well as scope to contribute ideas to menu development, salad rotations or cafe specials. Industry experience is preferable but not required.
