Candidates MUST have a Full UK Driving Licence.
Main Responsibilities:
• To work in partnership with the cook/chef to ensure the preparation of a balanced and healthy diet for children
• Liaising with the Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Nursery Cook and all other colleagues to maintain accurate and up to date records of children with allergies and dietary requirements.
• You will be working full time from 9am-5pm.
Main Duties:
• Delivering food for different nurseries around the area.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures and complying with health and safety regulations.
• Correct distribution of food including complying with the company allergy management systems.
• Ensuring regular risk assessments are undertaken and necessary actions completed.
• Remaining aware and observant of all health and safety issues in the nursery and where possible reducing the risk of any accident through prevention actions.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness/tidiness within the nursery kitchen.
• Make sure that all food substances are labelled.
• Storing and serving all food at the correct temperatures required and record temperatures of food at the time delivery and serving.
