CCT Venues are high quality training venues offering excellent service at all levels. The Kitchen Assistant (KA) will assist with the smooth running of the kitchen.
Specific Responsibilities

To assist with the delivery of goods including food and kitchen stock.  To be familiar with delivery bay requirements and adhere to building regulations.

To organise the kitchen refuse and leave for collection in accordance with building regulations.
To organise and maintain the wash up room, loading and unloading with items used for the delivery of daily catering service, in the dishwashers as required.
To provide a pot wash service, either by hand, or with dishwasher provided.
To clean kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
To ensure that all kitchen ware is cleaned and well maintained including using all chemicals appropriately.
To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
To ensure the storeroom is organised and kept tidy.
To assist the chef wherever necessary as required.
Other ad hoc duties as required.

experience and Skill requirements:
The successful candidate must have experience working in a similar role (experience in the service sector an advantage)
The post holder must be well presented, fit and able bodied and confident with good communication skills.
Good spoken English is essential as is the ability to understand basic written English (e.g. To read labels, rotas and written instructions)
Pay:
£8.25Per hour, plus holiday pay and free lunch.
