Junior Sous Chef – NAC Mayfair Restaurant
NAC Mayfair Restaurant is a wonderful elegant and stylistically stunning French Bistro Restaurant tucked away in Mayfair offering beautiful French cuisine, which an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join this wonderful Restaurant.
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
• To supervise all working of the Kitchen and the cooking of all dishes on menus.
• To delegate and supervisor work of all Kitchen Staff.
• To assist the Sous Chef and take full control of the Kitchen in Head Chef’s
absence and to carry out all responsibilities.
• support the Head Chef and the kitchen brigade to ensure service runs efficiently
and effec-tively at all times
• support the restaurant team to ensure all guests receive exceptional service
consistently
• Comply with food hygiene and health and safety legislation
• maintain quality control at all times
• keep wastage to a minimum
experience required:
• Proven ability as a Experienced Chef de Partie/Senior Chef de Partie or Sous
Chef in a Hotel or Restaurant
• Proven ability at A La Carte cooking
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of IT
• Knowledge of food trends
• Proven ability at working in a successful team
• Strong organisational skills
• Food Hygiene and Health and Safety – Intermediate or Advanced
What are We are looking for?
experience in providing Customer service in the Hospitality industry is required for this role but to be successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
