Operation: Modern British Gastro and Function Room
Location: City of London
Salary: £32,000 pa
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 7 Shifts (45 – 50 hrs)

Established Gastro independent: 2-floor operation with rustic-chic interiors; daily produced-driven menu; bio-dynamic wines; ongoing accolades and press / media interest since launch.
Food takes pride of place with commitment to sourcing from South East based small artisan suppliers (also growing own produce) to showcase premium ingredients from the immediate British larder. Expect robust flavours, good modern technical cooking and quirky touches.
7 day operation – busy for lunch and dinner throughout the week / year….
Kitchen hrs: 12pm to 3pm / 6pm to 10pm Mon to Saturday / from 12pm to 6pm Sunday
Role Description
Working closely with the Head chef and General Manager – responsibilities include:
Daily menu planning / costings and specifications
Working alongside the Head chef; deputising in the Chef’s absence; responsible for maintaining the daily smooth running of the kitchen and service (ensuring all standards are upheld on a consistent basis)
Assisting with stock management and ordering; wastage / kitchen cost control; daily kitchen admin and rostering; daily compliance files and procedures

Salary and Benefits
Starting on a package of £28,000 basic with additional (minimum) £4,000 service charge pa
Total: up to £32,000 + pa
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period incl. Regular performance related salary reviews; ongoing in-house development; courses as required; workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; movement and progression within this famed independent group; FAM trips; team excursions; staff discounts; meals on duty and laundered uniform
approximately. 45 – 50 hrs p wk / 7 shifts over 5 days
