In search for a talented Junior Pastry Sous Chef to join the Team at Sake no Hana!
Sake no Hana offers modern authentic Japanese dining in the heart of Mayfair. A la Carte menus provide a variety of hot and cold appetizers, charcoal grill, Toban and Kamameshi dishes, while sushi and sashimi are prepared to order at the sushi bar. With interiors designed by esteemed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the restaurant interior is awash with linear bamboo that flushes each wall.
Led by Executive Pastry Chef Daniel Pearse Sake no Hana's dessert menu, inspired by both classic and modern techniques, offers a selection of delicate, refreshing and beautifully flavoured desserts. Our Pastry team members are continuously developed and trained to deliver their best and become future Pastry Chefs for our expanding global portfolio.
The ideal Pastry Sous Chef for Sake no Hana has:
• Previous relevant experience within a pastry production kitchen; experience in luxury restaurants/hotels would be a distinct advantage;
• Passion for pastry, a creative flair and exceptional attention to detail;
• Ability and knowledge of producing high quality patisserie in a fast paced environment;
• Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor a pastry team;
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team;
• Ideally experienced with ordering and stock rotation as well as menu development;
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom;
