About the role:-
o You will ensure the provision of excellent customer service by resolving customers’ technical queries, by face-to-face, remote and telephone support. You will be expected to assess IT issues raised by customers to ensure a full understanding of the problem, escalating to senior support engineers when necessary.
o Where possible, you’ll be diagnosing the cause of the problem in order to identify the most appropriate fix and ensuring an effective, robust resolution.
o You’ll identify recurring problems, escalating where necessary, in order to identify the underlying cause.
o Assist with the building of hardware and operating system rollouts, installing appropriate software to meet the user’s needs, ensuring that hardware and software is configured correctly.
o Interact professionally with colleagues at all times, ensuring our users are fully satisfied with the service provided.
o Work collaboratively with team members in order to ensure swift resolution of customer problems and to maximize your technical development in the role.
About You:
experience providing IT support, working with the following technologies:
o Windows Desktop (ideally Windows 7, 8 and 10).
o Basic Active Directory administration.
o Knowledge of Draytek and Cisco routers
o Networking, Switches, Routers, Routing, VLANs.
o Microsoft Office and Office365.
o Support of mobile devices, including tablets.
o Windows-based networking and troubleshooting, including an understanding of IP Communications, DHCP and DNS.
o You’ll need a customer service and quality focus, with a keen eye for detail.
o Willing to learn and keep up to date with the latest technology.
o Strong written and oral communication.
o Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
o Microsoft certifications are a strong plus
