A Daily Housekeeper/Companion is required for a lovely family in London N6 to assist with an elderly lady with dementia.
Start Date: 03/09/18
Salary: £12 net per hour + tax and NI
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch.
Duties: Household duties including food preparation, cleaning, washing and ironing, emptying dishwasher, running errands, shopping (please note that there is a Cleaner who comes 2-3 times a week). Occasional collecting children from school if required. Carer duties including helping with dressing/undressing, take to appointments, accompany on outings, assisting with showering.
You must:
Have previous housekeeping experience with checkable references to support your application.
Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake one.
Have common sense and initiative
Have a happy and Smiley disposition
Be friendly, kind and caring
Have knowledge or experience of dealing with someone with dementia.
Be proactive
A knowledge of Italian language would be a bonus.
