The Columbia Hotel is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Receptionist to join our Team.
Who we are:
The Columbia Hotel is family run hotel in Lancaster Gate, overlooking Hyde Park, just one mile from Marble Arch. With 103 guest bedrooms, 4 conference rooms, spacious breakfast room, guests bar and lounge. We are a very busy budget hotel which aims to offer modern day requirements, whilst retaining the character of the original Victorian-buildings.
About the role:
Start Date: Immediate
Salary / Remuneration: £8.00 /hour / staff meals on duty
Shifts: 35 hours over 5 days. Early shifts starting at 7.30 am to 3.30pm and late shifts starting at 3.00pm – 11.00pm.
As a Receptionist you will be the main contact for all guests, welcoming them to the hotel upon arrival and ensuring they have a great stay.
Duties Include:
• Welcoming guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Cash Handling and daily Banking
• Guests Check In and Out,
• Preparation of next day arrivals and departure lists.
• Telephone Enquiries/Reservations,
• General enquiries from hotel guests.
Candidates must be reliable, extremely positive, have to enjoy interacting with people, have good personal presentation and an excellent command of both written and spoken English.
References required and previous hotel experience is required.
