Central Production Kitchen Head Chef / Production Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, hardworking and ambitious Chef / Production Manager to manage a Central Production Kitchen team.
Must have a great personality and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure and as part of a great team. A passion for fresh food and quality is essential must have a good eye for detail and have excellent presentation and organisation skills.
We offer a full range of salads, sandwiches, soup that will be made centrally. We source local, organic produce and take our clients/customers on a journey towards living a better healthier life style through our food.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of our full range as above.
They will work closely with the company’s consultant chef to create new dishes and deliver the menus across the catering offer.
Food will be produced to a high standard so experience is necessary. However, training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities:
• To Assist and work with companies Consultant Chef with development of current and new products with in line with the company brand
• Supervising and training of other Kitchen Staff
• Guide and motivate the team to work more efficiently
• To assist in preparation and delivery of all production to a high standard
• Monitor stocks for ingredients and make appropriate orders within budget
• Check quality of martial and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
• Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
• Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station ad adhere to health and safety standards
• Completing all written paperwork associated with your day to day work.
