Head Chef required for busy East London pub.
£32k-£35k depending on experience.
The award winning Red Lion pub in Leytonstone is looking for a talented head chef who has experience running a busy kitchen.
We are searching for a passionate chef who can produce exceptional quality traditional dishes with a modern twist.
You must be a strong leader and be able to work well under pressure.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
• Day to day running of the kitchen
• Writing monthly seasonal menus
• Control of G.P.
• Ordering
• Organisation of invoices
• Writing weekly rotas and controlling wage costs
• All E.H.O. Related control and administration
• Recruitment of suitable staff
• Training of kitchen staff
• Business development
In addition to your salary, there is also the opportunity to achieve a quarterly bonus.
The Red Lion prizes itself on the quality of it’s ale, craft beer, food, service and events. Since opening in 2011 the pub has grown exponentially and has recently opened it’s prestigious ballroom where, amongst other things, we also host wedding receptions.
