Head Chef - High Profile Retail Store, 5 Straight Shifts - London 40kHead Chef- salary of GBP37k plus bonus and amazing package!My client is a large high profile retail store in Central London with multiple Food and Beverage operations - varying from coffee shops to restaurants and concessions They are currently recruiting for a head chef to oversee one of their all day dining restaurants serving a large variety of International cuisinesAs Head chef you will be responsible to oversee the running of the production of food and the open planned café style restaurants and kitchen that is open shop hours Basic Requirements:* Managing a team of 8 chefs from production to service as head chef* Delivering consistency for all day menu serving a large variety of International cuisines* Rotas, staff training, recruitment, coaching and mentoring your team* Writing and following spec recipes, menus and guidelines whilst reporting to the Executive chef* Proven leadership and communication skills at all levels* A mature and level headed approach to your work* Flexible with straight shift patterns day or night (out by 9pm) working 5/7 days, 45 hour week* Solid career stability as a head chef working in busy high volume fresh food operations, retail or Contract catering experience is ideal* Broad knowledge of International cuisines* Ordering and maintaining all HACCP and Coshh* Stock taking and costing The company offers an amazing career opportunity along with a very generous bonus structure and package for the right head chef.
