Head Chef- New Opening Restaurant/Cafe- Daytimes Only- W London £30-35kThis role will suit a Sous chef looking to head up their own kitchen and work closely with the Owner Immediate start or 1 weeks notice is required Our client is opening a new neighbourhood restaurant/coffee shop (24 seats) based in an affluent area of West London that provides an environment for local professionals and residents to get a quick take-away meal/coffee but also to eat in.

Open Monday- Saturday for breakfast and lunch until 5pm (brunch on Saturday to 3pm)
Breakfast is largely American in style, focusing on fresh comfort food, centered on dishes like a hardy breakfast burrito, salt beef Hash and vegan blueberry pancakes. Lunch will consist of Staple sandwiches, daily mains and salad specials, along with dishes ideal to share.
They will offer cakes, muffins, pastries and breads for sale as well.
Additionally, they will offer beer, wine and liquor, focusing cocktail service on weekday lunch/afternoons and weekend brunch plus fresh juices, sodas and bespoke mixers.
The incoming Head chef will be asked to manifest a menu alongside the owner and will look to them to create the daily specials and a once-a-month pop-up dinner.
Once opened and settled they will also be available to provide offsite office catering and to host private events onsite, during off hours; these menus would largely be designed by the head chef, in collaboration with the owner.
The Head chef will be expected to develop vendor relationships with local, smaller suppliers and set up the cafes food and kitchen supplies ordering system. The GM and owner can assist in this initially, as needed.
