Our stylish, high quality restaurant and live music venue is looking for a Head Chef.
Our ideal candidate needs to be strong in all areas, including menu design, General Practitioner control, H and S, team development, and of course bringing exceptional cooking skills – we need someone confident in cooking a range of international cuisines, alongside home-baking and pastry-making.

At its peak, our kitchen expects to serve up to 200 diners in 2-3 hours on busy Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday Lunches, as well as delivering pre-ordered menus for private functions. If you excel under pressure and can bring a hands-on attitude to our kitchen, then we’d like to hear from you.

This role is a full-time position.
As our Head Chef your responsibilities will include:

Managing daily food ordering, production, and service – always achieving our high standards.
Creation of seasonal menus, including function/event menus.
Cooking great, tasty food so that people keep coming back for more.
Comply with food safety guidelines and follow all aspects of H and S to the highest standard.
Sticking to staff budgets and General Practitioner margins.

You will also be a natural leader who communicates clearly and confidently with their team. We are looking for someone with:

An ability to coach and develop teams
An approachable manner and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
A set of clear targets for their team members and manage their performance accordingly, delivering ongoing feedback and training as required.
