Head Chef - Brasserie - SW London £35k - £40k + BenefitsA beautiful brasserie, situated within a multi outlet venue in South West London, is seeking a talented Head Chef to oversee its operation. Serving British/European cuisine with a strong focus on using sustainable, locally sourced produce.  Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Brasserie.You will have a stable career to date working in high quality fresh food brasseries or gastro style establishments. Some high-volume events experience would be beneficial as this particular venue also hosts various events on the premises. Skills required.
Excellent cooking skills Leadership and management skills Organisational skills The ability to control a budget and work with figures The ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions The ability to stay calm and overcome any food production problems.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Planning menus Making sure food is of the right quality and price Managing stock Ordering food from suppliers Controlling a budget and keeping accurate records Managing health and hygiene procedures Organising the staff duty Rota Recruiting, training and developing staff.
