We operate an events / hospitality service at a venue near Wembley Stadium, with an adjoining restaurant and cafe with lunch and breakfast service. We are looking for a head chef to join our team.
You will be responsible for the provision of fantastic food from field to fork – selecting and ordering the right ingredients to build the menus, and overseeing the kitchen and restaurant servery team to ensure it is prepared and delivered to the best food and service standards.
You may have experience as a Head Chef or Chef Manager, or as a senior chef in an operation where you have had a number of staff directly reporting into you.
Demonstrable experience of event catering (canapés / banqueting) is essential, as well as the ability to run the kitchen in compliance with company policies, completing and signing off checks on due diligence and cleaning. Our private event clients and restaurant customers have diverse tastes so you will need to be comfortable delivering a range of international cooking styles.
You will also be coming into close contact on a daily basis with our customers and event clients, so you will need to be able to show exemplary customer service skills and act as duty manager dealing with any issues.
Your hours will be 40 a week, as required, 5 out of 7.This is mainly a Monday to Friday daytime operation, though we do have evening / weekend event requirements and you will need to be able to adjust your hours as required.
