We are recruiting a general manager for our pub, The Star of Bethnal Green.
The venue was the first to open in the Electric Star Pubs portfolio and has an excellent reputation locally for great customer service, food, drink and entertainment.
As General Manager you will be the face of the business and be fully responsible for driving all aspects of the business forward and controlling costs.
Skills requirements:
Very Customer Focused- Passionate about achieving excellent customer service.
Bar/ Pub management experience - Strong knowledge of P and L’s, stock control, licensing and marketing.
Finance – Strong knowledge of General Practitioner , Margins, wage percentages and able to work towards prescribed budgets.
People Management- Able to manage and train a team of diverse individuals and be able to reprimand and praise those people where appropriate.
Entertainment - Interest in DJ led events and have the ability to provide input in the direction of this entertainment.
Community - Building links in the local community and promoting the pub in the local area.
Bookings - Able to manage and grow a weekly bookings diary for a diverse range of
events.
Sales - Ability to increase sales through customer bookings and ensure that the customer has an amazing experience.
Product knowledge - Understanding and knowledge of current London food and drink trends.
compliance – Understand and execute all statutory Health and Safety tasks.
