Spike + Earl is a cafe/bar and creative space in the heart of Camberwell and we are looking for a new General Manager to lead our day and evening trade.
We are looking for motivated, passionate and dedicated people who share our values and can make a real difference to a business. A dynamic, hard working person with broad range of experience and interests, who will be excellent at managing a front-of-house team, and will also have expertise in stock control, Rota management, opening and closing site, payroll and with a solid understanding of the financial side of the business would be preferred. Customer service is a HUGE priority for the new position and the ability to motivate and manage a team is essential.
The position is suited to someone who has solid experience as a GM already but we will consider candidates who are looking for a step up from AGM level. experience working in drinks focused venues would be preferable as a large part of the role will be to help shape our evening offering..
You will be reporting directly to the owners of the business. Salary is dependent on experience but will be circa £28,000 per annum.
