We are looking for an enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team in London.
We are a contract caterer, providing fresh, seasonal food to a variety of sites across the UK.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach and able to work on their own initiative but also work great as part of a small team.
This is an exciting role where the focus is on preparing and serving fresh, modern breakfast to around 300 people each day. The role will involve some portering duties as well as food preparation, barista duties and assisting with restaurant services and hospitality lunches.
As our General Assistant you will:
-Have experience working in a similar role and environment.
-Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
-Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy.
-Have good customer service experience
-Be flexible in your approach and understand the requirements of the unit.
-Have an understanding of basic food and safety hygiene.
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of.
7. The typical shift pattern would be either 7.30am to 4pm or 9.30am to 6pm. Overtime is a requirement of this role and a degree of flexibility is always required to cater for the needs of the site.
