Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world’s most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 dining spaces, including: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant and Elgar Bar and Grill, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
We are recruiting self motivated Barista / General Assistants who are ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment. We can offer both morning shifts and evenings shifts.

Job role

You will need to take orders and prepare beverage items to all guests as per their order.
Ensure that the counter display is featuring key products which are regularly re-filled and re-stocked in alignment to seasonal designs suggestions.
Provide a timely customer service response time to orders reducing waiting time, queues and cashing procedures.
Maintain high level of customer service at all time whilst displaying a great attention to detail.
Prepare the bill accordingly and take payment in the most efficient time possible.
You will demonstrate an excellent knowledge of all hot beverages.

Candidate profile

You will have gained previous working experience within a retail outlet, catering or large scale hospitality.
You are able to commit to flexible work pattern undertaking evening shifts as well as weekend work.
You will possess an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills.
