Job Description

A high level of physical fitness is required as the job is labour intensive.

You will be responsible for driving to clients in the North London/Middlesex area, ranging from suburban gardens to 1-2 acre sites.
Daily tasks are seasonal, but include grass cutting, edging, weeding, hedge cutting, strimming, pruning shrubs and small trees, maintenance of herbaceous perennials, planting bedding, clearing leaves, allotment gardening, working at heights with ladders.

Essential criteria

Eligible to work in the UK
Fluent English
Full clean UK driving license
Keen interest in horticulture
At least 1 year experience of working full time as a maintenance gardener.
Strong plant identification skills
Competent communicator - happy liaising with customers and working with staff of differing experience levels.
Excellent time management skills
Proactive attitude towards achieving high end results.

Desirable

experience of growing fruit and vegetables.
PA1/PA6 Certification
A relevant horticultural qualification
Power tool maintenance experience
