We are currently recruiting for a new permanent member of our team.
The Palace Gardener is an established company that has been based in the Crystal Palace and Dulwich area for over ten years. We maintain over a hundred gardens in the area and also carry out larger projects, providing a complete gardening service. We have been asked to help on many different prestigious projects from award winning gardens at RHS Chelsea to The Chelsea Physic Garden as well as managing some very special private residences. The successful candidate will not only be given a great understanding of all aspects of the industry, but will on occasion be asked to help on some of our larger more prestigious appointments.
We are looking for someone who has a good plant knowledge, who is fit and strong, who will be reliable and will hopefully have a full driving license. Good organisational skills are required as you will be working on several gardens each week. The candidate needs to be confident managing the needs of the client and able to carry out all aspects of garden maintenance. They must be able to project what tasks will be needed in the garden next and convey this clearly to colleagues and clients.  We pride ourselves on having good one to one relationships with all of our clients,  so require the person to be a good communicator and be personable too.
We will offer a good rate of pay that will depend on your ability, experience and knowledge. The role is a full time, permanent one and as well as offering long term career progression within our growing company, we offer a full package with holiday pay, sick pay and pension.
