Black Truffle is an award winning delicatessen in Belsize Park that offers a wide range of artisan produce, excellent coffee and a fantastic selection of homemade salads, deli items and patisserie.
We are seeking a Head Chef who will be responsible for managing the kitchen, including staff, menus and ordering. The ideal candidate will be trained to a Cordon-bleu diploma standard and capable of producing a wide range of dishes including patisserie and brunch. Our menus change to reflect the seasons, and we offer many customer favourites, however you will be encouraged to add your own personal touch and help creating menus and new products to sell via the shop.
Black Truffle offers an extensive selection of homemade food throughout the day. The majority of shifts are early morning until late afternoon. Weekend work is expected.
Our standards are incredibly high, not only for our food but also our service and team ethic. On the job training will be provided but experience is preferred.
You will need to be fluent in English, be trained to at least Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene and able to work in the UK.
Pay is attractive and dependent on experience.
Successful applicants will be asked to perform a trial.
