£20K per year (or equivalent for part time)

About Yolk

Yolk serves takeaway breakfast and lunch for the discerning Londoner - perfectly-poached egg pots, gourmet sandwiches and speciality coffee.
After 3 years honing our menu through a range of successful pop-ups, we’ve now opened our first fixed site.
The unit is small but perfectly formed, in a high-footfall area near Liverpool Street station.
We plan to open a number of other locations over the next 2-3 years.

What we’re looking for

We're seeking a positive, engaging individual with a great personality to work on the till at our first site.
The successful candidate will work closely with the FOH manager, and will play a key role in ensuring our customers are happy, love the brand and want to come back.
Responsibilities will include interacting with customers, making sales, addressing errors and customer complaints, communicating clearly with the kitchen, ordering non-food stock (packaging etc) and cash control.
experience working in a takeaway/fast casual environment would be useful, but is not essential.
Confidence, charm and common sense are essential - plus calmness under pressure and a passion for food.
There's scope for an ambitious candidate to play a key role in growing the business over the next few years.
