JOB DESCRIPTION
Front of House Receptionist - this is a 3 month contract that could be extended for 2 years.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POST:
As the initial contact for many stakeholders of the organisation the purpose of this role is to provide consistent and professional reception and administrative services to the organisation.
KEY TASKS:
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly
• Greet all visitors to the office, notifying them of any safety requirements as per the visitors policy and ensuring the person they are visiting is informed of their arrival
• Managing meeting / training room facilities; ordering refreshments and setting up the room as required
• Ensuring the reception. Central office and kitchen areas are tidy and presentable at all time
• Filing and record keeping
• Sorting and distributing incoming post; franking and taking outgoing post to the post box / Post Office; arranging special deliveries and couriers and ensuring the franking machine remains in credit
• Ordering, monitoring and maintaining stationery and domestic supplies
• Assisting with weekly health and safety monitoring
• Ad hoc admin support for other departments as required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• A good standard of IT skills at a user level
• A good standard of administrative skills
• Tact and diplomacy.
