Pitta Bun is looking for a Front of House / Cashier to add to the team of floor staff that deliver their exceptional food service within the restaurant and bar areas. You will be part of a fresh and small team in a new 40-cover street food concept, based in Carnaby street, London.
Pitta Bun is the second venture of the team behind OPSO in Marylebone, offering Modern Greek street food. Waiters and assistant waiters are primarily responsible for assisting the management team in running the service.
The restaurant offers a creative and welcoming environment in which waiting staff of all levels will enhance their skills and experience. You must have previous experience in a high pace restaurant. Very good knowledge of the English language is also a must.
Responsibilities
-Providing friendly, quality customer service to each customer.
-Greeting customers and communicate with them with a view to determine their orders.
-Taking customers’ orders and punch them correctly into the restaurant order database, informing them about their bill and taking payments.
-Relaying customers’ orders to the kitchen and ensure that each order is expedited.
-Assisting supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines – helping reduce customer waiting time.
-Ensuring that the counter area is kept clean, organised and well stocked at all times.
-Ensuring customers are satisfied and all their needs are covered.
-Performing opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.
