ARPR is looking for an organised, self-motivated and passionate Film PR Intern who is keen to break into Film Publicity. It is to join our very small team for an immediate start for 2-3 months.
[Please note this is NOT a film making, film production or journalist role - this is PR and Social Media Only.]
We are a boutique Film and Entertainment PR Consultancy offering Theatrical and Home Entertainment Publicity, Offline and Online Publicity, Promotions, Social Media, Unit and Festival Publicity as well as Premiere, Event and Talent Management. We provide first class publicity campaigns for some of the most exciting cutting edge film events, cinema and home entertainment releases and current affairs documentaries and regularly work with different Directors, Actors and Producers. Note: we do not work on big studio blockbuster and marvel films.
We are a very small team of 4 and work hard on exciting, interesting and sometimes award-winning film campaigns so you will get a lot of invaluable exposure, experience and training within Film PR. The candidate will help set up press screenings, liaise with press for film reviews and features, pitch features on email and over the phone, research new contacts for new campaign film titles and manage reporting and the press database. You will also likely help out at occasional events and press junkets managing press schedules. We work on a mix of live action independent films, documentaries and events.
Requirements
English as a first language is essential and spelling and accuracy is paramount. She/He is bright and conscientious with excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail and a confident phone manner. You are proactive with a can-do attitude, motivated, a fast learner, diligent at multi-tasking and getting through tasks quickly and accurately. It is preferable that the individual has some experience / knowledge of PR, social media and press deadlines and already has some experience of working in a busy office, managing workloads and to do lists. We are looking for someone that is very interested in film publicity, can work well under pressure and as part of a small team. Creative ideas are also very welcome and encouraged through team brainstorms.

NOTE: This is not a paid salary role as you are gaining invaluable experience and training, but London travel expenses will be covered and you will gain excellent experience in an exciting and thriving film industry. For the right candidate a paid position could be available. Two existing full time employees started as an intern for 3 months and then moved onto a paid role with us.
We work in a modern co-working office which is very close to Southwark Tube, Waterloo and London Bridge Train Stations and all shops.
