A fantastic opportunity for an experienced barista to be part of the team of a 100-cover restaurant, based in Marylebone, London. OPSO is a multi awarded restaurant, offering an all day dining experience. We serve single origin coffee from Square Mile and hold a strong coffee program serving coffee for drink-in as well as for take-away. We serve an exclusive traditional style Greek coffee and we make our own cold Brew. Serving, brunch, lunch and dinner, with an approximate 300 covers per day, the restaurant offers a creative and welcoming environment in which our staff will enhance their skills and experience.
We are looking for a barista with relevant experience and the talent to work effectively within the team to provide excellent service. This is an ideal opportunity for a Barista who wants to develop quickly to a more senior role within a fun and dynamic team.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Barista
- Excellent coffee-making skills
- Someone comfortable with setting up grinders and adjusting the grind throughout the day.
- Someone to watch and taste shots for quality control.
- High levels of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Consistently make good presentable coffee quickly.
- Latte art knowledge
- Passion for wine, drinks and cocktails with a desire to learn.
- Drive and ambition to progress your career in a quality expanding restaurant group.
- Good command of English
- A strong work ethic
