The Comedy Pub is a multi use venue over four floors. It is currently closed for a huge, exciting refurbishment throughout INCLUDING brand new kitchen. We are looking for an experienced leader to build this brand new kitchen from the ground up and set up their kitchen, exactly how they want it.
Currently the business is focused on tourist trade, so the Great British classics are really popular but soon the menu will be expanding to include more exciting fresh food with more opportunity to build your own menus.
This will be a great opportunity for someone who feels like they are ready to take their first head chef position and lead a small team from the front but also for a head chef that is looking for a new challenge and is ready to build trade with the management team.
The successful applicant will be passionate about standards and cleanliness. Be firm but fair when managing their team and settle for nothing but perfection.
You will be working with a management team who collectively have over 35 years of experience and believe that we all should work hard but enjoy what we do.
We can offer, as a starting rate, £10 p/h. We know that this is not a lot, but there will be opportunity for it to go up after probation is completed.
