A FCA regulated boutique investment firm seeks an aspiring individual with background in accounting/finance to join the team.
Currently the firm is specialized in investing in traded financial instruments related to derivatives, stocks, currencies and etc. We expect the candidate to be an integral part of this dynamic business in its continuous pursuit of market opportunities. Specifically, the candidate would have exposure to the following areas:
Data Entry
Maintain P and L and business expenses in a timely manner;
Liaise with outside service providers, e.g, brokers, lawyers, account- ants, as necessary;
Arrange payment of business expenses;
Purchase office supplies;
Organize managers’ travel needs-book flights, hotels, local transportation etc.
Organize events
Diary management
Qualification:
Good computer skills in IE, Excel, Word, Power Point and etc.
Fluent English both in business writing and conversation is a must.
French is preferred but not necessary
Accounting, financial trading/ investment background is preferred.
Proactive and efficient with good business common sense.
Strong work ethics, superb interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to details, able to multitask under pressure.
Min 1 year working experience
Working hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours/Wk
