Executive Assistant to Director of Marketing

The Role:
To provide high quality personal and administrative assistance to the Marketing Director and in support of the wider Marketing team objectives, and to be the main Marketing point of contact with all other Chillisauce departments, providing support as required.
Key Tasks:
*Manage the Marketing Director’s diary and schedule.
*Organise and schedule meetings.
*Manage marketing projects and follow up with team members where required.
*Manage temporary marketing staff, including on-boarding, induction and supervision.
*Handling day to day marketing enquiries by phone, email and social media platforms.
*Maintain system filing and documentation.
*Process the Marketing Director’s expenses.
*Maintain a strong working relationship with other relevant departments including *Sales, Product, Finance and Operations.
*Maintaining communication in the team - managing correspondence, responding to requests etc.
*Make decisions on behalf of the Marketing Director within agreed parameters.
*Preparation of papers ahead of meetings including Board Meetings. Minute taking at meetings, typing and circulation of minutes, progressing actions set for individuals.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
*Educated to degree level
experience:
*Strong organisation skills and experience of providing administrative assistance in an office/marketing environment.
*experience of working in a media environment
*experience of handling a wide range of enquiries and the ability to resolve daily issues.
*experience of using Microsoft office packages, external media software
Knowledge and Skills:
*Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
*An organised approach to work.
*Ability to see projects through from start to finish managing time and tasks effectively.
*Ability to manage heavy workloads and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on tasks.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Excellent typing skills with the ability to draft appropriate communications.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
