Dental Practice Manager / Receptionist (GDC Reg)– Chelsea
Chelsea Green Dental Practice is a state of the art newly established private practice. We are seeking an exceptional experienced Dental Practice Manager.
Chelsea Green Dental Practice is a 3-surgery practice offering Specialist, cosmetic, orthodontic, general and hygiene services.
You will be leading an enthusiastic team will full support from the owner and founder of Chelsea Green Dental Practice - Dr Anna Maciag.
The Role
Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly manner and discussing any issues or concerns that they may have.
Ensure the efficient every day running of the practice over-seeing the appointment book
Management of administration duties within the clinic to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible
Coaching, leading and developing a high-performance practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Make sure all required Policies and Protocols have been put into practice.
To understand and oversee all staff’s duties and responsibilities.
Proactively marketing of the practice to drive patient numbers
Have skills and experience to manage the regulated activity of the practice.
Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines
Effectively manage the recruitment and selection for all practice staff
Deliver or internally source staff training/development for the team
Be able to face difficult conversations 7 deal promptly with any issues when they arise
Maintain good customer relations with all patients and other referring dentists
Effectively manage and resolve patient complaints
Demonstrate a friendly but managerial attitude to dentists, staff, patients and to referring dentists
Provide ongoing assistance regarding any future expansions of the business.
To understand and oversee all staff’s duties and responsibilities.
Required Skills and experience
At least 2 years’ experience managing a busy dental clinic
Proven ability to manage a team of dental professionals and administration staff.
Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
Knowledge and experience in recruiting dental professionals and administration staff.
Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs and SOE Exact dental software.
Highly organised – essential for the effective management of a busy dental clinic.
Problem Solving – ability to deal with all problems that arise in the clinics in a calm and professional manner.
Decision Making - ability to expect the unexpected and to be able to act accordingly making the correct decisions.
Excellent in interpersonal and written communication skills
Attention to detail – essential when working in a busy dental surgery.
PAY
A competitive starting salary of £30000 and the opportunity to increase this through training and development
