An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service and Sales Executive to join Henson Foods. Although currently located in N7, London, Hensons will be relocating to its new home in SE28, Woolwich, in January 2022. Henson Foods Ltd forms part of the Bidfresh Group, a principal British supplier of fresh meat, seafood and produce to the catering industry; a national supplier with strong local heritage. There are clear progression paths to grow within the role and we aim to actively promote from within our business.As a Customer Service and Sales Executive your duties and responsibilities will be:* A great mix of Account Management, Customer Services and Telesales.* Working closely to support the Field Sales Executives to ensure sales targets are achieved, the Sales Executive will be in regular contact with our client base to help maintain and grow our existing accounts.* In addition to working closely with our current client base, the Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential new clients and arranging site meetings for the Field Sales Representatives. Additional duties will include order processing and therefore accurate data entry and Microsoft Office skills are essential.An ideal Customer Service and Sales Executive will have the following skills and qualifications:* You should be personable with a proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment.* You will need to be highly organised with effective time management skills* Have the ability to prioritise an often heavy workload* You will also need to be proficient in in Word / Outlook / Excel with excellent typing skills to facilitate prompt and accurate data entry* You will be able to demonstrate assured and professional communication, both written and verbal. Much of your work will be telephone based, so you must be adept in the art of conversation and inspire our client's confidence in you* You will have sales experience, preferably within foodservice but this is not an essential requirement. We aim to develop all our employees' potential therefore all new starters are inducted in to our Sales Academy with ongoing learning and support.* You should be driven and motivated by targets with the personal resilience to work well under pressure.* Accountability - ensuring effective communication at all times with our Clients.* Handling complaints, finding solutions where and when required, ensuring excellent management of accounts. Ideally candidates applying for this role should have previous sales / customer service experience, preferably within foodservice (meat and butchery experience is preferable but not essential).Your working hours will be 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday.In return for this you will receive a salary of GBP25,000 + bonus structure, 20 days + 8 Bank/Public Holiday.
