We’re Goodlord and we’re totally revolutionising the way people rent their new home. We believe that moving should be simple - because there’s an app for that now don’t you know. Our platform allows agencies and landlords to stop chasing paper and gives tenants the opportunity to secure and pay for their new home in one place. And about time too, right?
We're looking for someone to join the Goodlord family for a short term period to help support our wonderful Contracts team. Our Contracts team plays an integral role within the tenancy process. Ensuring that any problems with the agents’ contracts are quickly resolved and that any requested updates to their online platforms are carried out quickly and correctly allows tenancy deals to keep on flying through Goodlord.
You'll focus on ensuring that newly created contracts are functioning correctly on our online platform by quickly solving any problems and on updating agents’ bespoke contracts, branding and app settings. A keen attention to detail, excellent editing skills, problem-solving ability and a task driven work ethic will all be key to this role.
Responsibilities
Use editing and proofreading skills to ensure agents’ online contracts are correct.
Learn basic HTML skills to update or fix how the contracts are displayed online.
Learn how to find and solve issues with the code in the contracts.
Learn to create and edit bespoke branding for agencies platforms.
Liaise between internal teams to find out what edits need to be carried out and when.
Skills and experience
You're a quick learner who can get their head around with new systems and processes at a pace
You're technology literate and can jump between different tools as and when needed
You have strong organisational skills and a fantastic eye for detail
Ability to prioritise in an efficient manner
Past experience in data entry or quality control
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
What we offer
Temporary work for between 3-6 months
A standard working day of 9-5
A competitive temporary day rate
Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing start-up environment
A wonderful fun open plan office in Aldgate East full of the friendliest people (plus three cute and hypoallergenic dogs!)
Friday drinks!
