We’re looking for a young, creative and hands-on intern to join our new independent platform, Drool.
Drool looks to connect 18-30-year-Olds with the wider creative sector. Users can discover, review and share the best exhibitions, events, screenings and workshops happening across the city each week.
This is an exciting opportunity to work 3-5 days a week and be exposed to the contemporary arts industry, working in a new start-up and acting as a key member of our small team.
As an intern, you’ll need to be amerced within London’s creative scene, with an active interest and knowledge of Goings-on. If you are looking to develop and strengthen your communication, research capabilities and creative skills, then this is an ideal role.
You’d be responsible for:
• Researching upcoming happenings
• Managing the day-to-day running of the website
• Attending and broadcasting exhibition openings and events through our social media channels
Essential:
• An active interest in arts and attending exhibitions or events
• Self-motivation
• Great internet research skills
• Proven experience in using social media, including Facebook and Instagram
• Basic HTML experience
Desirable:
• Photography and video production skills
• Video production/editing skills
This is best suited for someone living in East London and you'll need access to your own laptop.
Pay:
You'll receive a daily lunch allowance and travel expenses to attend exhibitions and events. For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to work with us full-time.
