We are looking for a kind and helpful live-in female companion/assistant with some experience in social care for an elderly lady who needs companionship and help in the house on a daily basis.
You will have a large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
All general housework and cooking and laundry. Driving our mother to and from visits and appointments. Taking her to her social arrangements and accompanying her to doctor’s appointments. Keeping her company and going out together on occasion including shopping. This post does not require any personal care although she will need help putting in her hearing aid and making sure she takes her medication and, when out and about,
sometimes needs a wheelchair as her mobility/walking is not too good.
Other requirements:
Recent CRB or DBS clearance certificate if possible
Can start live-in within the next 2 – 5 weeks.
You should speak good English, be a non smoker, confident driver, good cook and have excellent references.
