THE ROLE
As a Chef at Corazón, you will be responsible for supporting the Head and Sous Chefs in delivering consistent and excellent food to our 55 covers, throughout the day. You will prepare food to the standard and recipes required and demonstrated, will ensure your section is in order and you are ready to contribute to a bustling, positive service.
You will always maintain a safe, hygienic working environment and contribute to the professionalism and standard of excellence within the brigade.
WHO WE NEED
• Our successful candidates will have at least one year’s experience in a professional kitchen.
• Our chefs will demonstrate a passion for true Mexican food or a genuine willingness to learn
• We are looking for responsible, dependable souls who maintain a sense of calm under pressure and demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork.
WE OFFER
• A competitive salary paid hourly - for commis or prep positions, up to £8.50 - based on a combination of 'house' pay and tronc
• 28 days holiday per year
