Commis Chef – Remarkable 5* Hotel, Central London
Salary up to £20k
We are currently recruiting for an incredible 5* Hotel based in Central London. The property is very well-known for the fantastic customer service and, for offering excellent dining option on a Michelin star level and modern all day dining Restaurants. This operation is internationally recognised within the luxury market, dealing with high end / VIP clientele. This 5* hotel offers a modern, fine dining European, fresh produce cuisine. It is therefore a priority to have a previous experience with an AA or Michelin star operation.
The Ideal Commis Chef Would be someone who:
• Who works well under pressure within a fast pace environment
• Someone who ambitious and looking for progression
• experience within a 5* hotel
• Is able to work long hours and put some hard work in
• Has great organisation skills and a strong personality
• Is willing to learn and has a proactive attitude
Commis Responsibilities:
• Prepare Ingredients for senior chefs
• Measure dish ingredients and proportion sizes accurately
• Deal with deliveries and stock take
• Working in a 3AA Rosette kitchen
• Clean accordingly to cleaning schedules
• Assist senior chefs with any tasks given
• Comply with the conditions of food hygiene policies
