The Spice Deli will soon be launching our flagship store in North West London and are on the lookout for experienced hospitality focused individuals to join our growing team.
The offering includes a fresh and seasonal Spice focused brunch menu alongside a beautiful display of fresh and vibrant salads and spiced meats and vegetable mains. We will also be showcasing unique products based around our love of spices from around the world in our beautiful retail in-store display.
We are on the lookout for experienced part-time and full-time chefs and kitchen staff to join our team, who have a confident understanding and knowledge of great service and food and drink.
Chef experience required –

2-3 Years chef experience in a similar café/restaurant environment.
A strong knowledge of brunch dishes - cooked to order.
Confidence in food production whilst still maintaining the highest quality of presentation and consistency.
The willingness to learn alongside our head chef and the ability to be creative where permitted.
A background knowledge of baking is a distinct advantage.
Excellent presentation
A positive and efficient attitude
Strong health and safety knowledge
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery and Health and Hygiene certificate or similar.

Baker experience –

2-3 Years chef/baker experience in a similar café/restaurant environment.
A strong knowledge of brunch dishes cooked to order.
Confidence in food production whilst still maintaining the highest quality of presentation and consistency.
The willingness to learn alongside our head chef and the ability to be creative where permitted.
A strong knowledge of pastry, bread baking and patisserie.
Excellent presentation

NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery and Health and Hygiene certificate or similar.

Kitchen Porter experience –
We are searching for a Kitchen Porter to work alongside our Head Chef and become an integral part of our dedicated Kitchen team, gaining valuable skills on the job. experience working in a kitchen environment would be a distinct advantage.
