PEARL Hackney Wick are looking for chefs of all abilities to join our small friendly team.
Multiple chefs required for fun, independent all day cafe / cocktail bar in Hackney Wick. We have an established following and a great little place that we're very proud of. If you like a relaxed atmosphere, serving simple quality dishes, all day and all evening, with a great drinks list alongside, then give us a call. We have the best coffee in town, a simple wine list, and an accessible menu of comfort food.
You'll be a key part of a small team, we're like a family, you'll need to be able to prepare and serve a selection of simple dishes, working occasionally by yourself from an open kitchen area, with a couple of others running the front of house. There's also great opportunity to work with the Head Chef developing specials and coming up with other ideas for the food offering.
We're open everyday of the week, from early morning to late evening, so this is a full time role that can offer flexible shifts, with a great social atmosphere and equal share of tips.
We would love someone with their own style of cooking that could enhance our menu with dishes they are passionate about. Examples of your own food or sample menus would be a huge plus! Please don't hesitate to express this in your cover letter.
Rates of pay will relate to experience and enthusiasm to create your own dishes.
