The Turk’s Head Wapping is recruiting for a full time Chef Position. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, hard working people to join our family.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
• To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department.
• To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
• To ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries
• To ensure that mis en place is completed in your section.
• To report any maintenance issues to the Duty Manager immediately.
• To comply with all shop policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations are observed.
• To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
• To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required. • Creates and presents the dishes in line with cooking food specifications, instructions and the supervisor's instructions
• Helps keep equipment used in good condition
• Cleans and tidies the workplace following the supervisor's instructions " Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy, and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations
• Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used
Good communication skills and previous experience are appreciated.
