The Grosvenor Victoria Casino on Edgware Road is recruiting for a Chef De Partie
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who has the confidence and technical ability to work in all sections of the kitchen with minimal supervision
Full-time position - 40 hours per week (5 x 8-hour shifts)
£11.98 per hour / £24,918.40 per annum
‘Premium Rate’ - 10% on top of hourly rate for each hour worked between midnight and 8am
28 days annual leave per year including Bank Holidays

Your key accountabilities include:
-To provide an appropriate and proactive level of service to meet the needs of the catering department and customer requirements
-To be responsible for a designated section of the kitchen
-To prepare and finish specified dishes to the highest standards, and in a cost effective manner
-To control service during periods when the Head Chef / Sous Chef are not present
-Recognise and rectify consistency concerns with the food production
-Maintain clean, tidy and hygienic working area
-To have an understanding of menu planning and menu costings
-Understand and appreciate ingredient quality and control to minimise wastage
-Ensure storage and dating/stock rotation is in line with company procedures and policies
The ideal candidate will:
-Have a strong focus on customer service
-Have attained an extensive knowledge and practical skills of food production and service within a commercial enterprise
-Have the desire to continuously develop within the role
-Demonstrate behaviours that support an understanding of the importance of teamwork
-Be flexible with regards to shift times and willing and able to work night shifts and weekends
-Possess a good standard of verbal English language skills
-Be eligible to work within the UK.
