CHEF DE PARTIE
ROLE PURPOSE:
To engage with our guests to ensure we deliver a great customer experience from start to finish and to play an integral part in motivating and supporting our Team Members to drive efficiency and quality of service.
Service
• To lead a section of the kitchen and control the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Head chef and the Sous chef.
• To take responsibility (along with the Head chef and the Sous chef) for teaching and developing the skills of Commis chefs.
• To delegate tasks to Commis chefs and Kitchen porters.
• To maintain a positive outlook and attitude
• To support the kitchen team to ensure a seamless and smooth operation.
• To maintain excellent standards of punctuality and personal presentation.
Quality
• To seek to deliver a perfect product at all times with a high attention to detail
• To place orders with correct Benugo suppliers and ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are checked, recorded and stored in line with the company’s standards.
• To maintain and monitor of all food storage and preparation areas in line with company food hygiene, health and safety and environmental policies and standards.
• To seek to continually improve performance standards.
Speed
• To consistently work at pace and be able to work to strict deadlines.
• To follow instruction and support colleagues to attain positive results.
• To show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
• To delegate tasks when necessary.
